PATHWAY 1:
K-12 Two Way Russian Immersion
Two way immersion programs aim to serve
both minority language and majority language students
utilizing both groups as native speaker models. Of the
students in the immersion class 50% will have Russian
as a first language, while most of the other half will
have English as their first language. Approximately
half of the school day will be taught in
Russian.

PATHWAY 4:
Russian as a Foreign Language
This Pathway provides Russian language
and culture study as an option for English-speaking
students, students of other languages, and for students
of other Slavic languages whose skills may not be
strong enough to enroll in the Heritage Russian
Pathway. The HS Russian as a Foreign Language Pathway
also provides students from the FLES Pathway with the
option to continue their Russian studies in high
school, preparing them for AP Russian.
